Food and Drink

Enjoy fine dining or proper pub grub on your doorstep. Nobody does food and drink quite like Yorkshire!

One of the best parts of being away from home is not having to bother with the cooking or washing up (although all our Pods do have fully functioning kitchens!) so it’s good to know that there are LOTS of drinking and dining options within a few miles radius of Malhamdale Glamping, here are just a handful of them.

  1. Town End Farm Shop: This multi award winning farm shop and cafe is situated on the same site as Malhamdale Glamping and is open 6 days a week all year round. They provide hearty Yorkshire breakfasts and lunches from 9.30am – 3pm. The farm shop also sells fresh meat, veg and essentials so it’s a great way to fill up your fridge upon your arrival.

  2. The Listers Arms: Located in Malham this popular country pub serves local ales and top quality pub grub. It’s popular with tourists and locals alike so booking a table is recommended during busy periods to avoid disappointment.

  3. Bollywood Cottage: Who knew that an award winning Indian restaraunt is located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales? Tiffin cup winner Bollywood cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Gargrave just a 5 minute drive from Airton. It provides spice lovers with a relaxed dining experience and also offers a popular takeaway menu (collection only). It’s a very popular restaraunt so booking is advisable.

  4. The Victoria: Located just down the road in Kirby Malham this pub is in walking distance so it could end up being your new local! Another traditional country pub service real local ales and tasty Yorkshire pub grub. It also hosts a popular quiz night throughout the year.

  5. The Angel Inn: If you want to treat yourself then why not book a fine dining experience at this Michelin Star restaurant located in the nearby hamlet of Hetton. Being one of the only Michelin star restaurants in the area it does book up quickly so we would advise booking early to avoid disappointment.

  6. The Mason’s Arms: Another option in the nearby village of Gargrave. The Mason’s Arms is a small family run pub that has built up a reputation as being one of the best places to eat in the area. It also allows dogs in the pub so is a great option if you’ve brought your four legged friend on holiday with you.
